First, that day has finally arrived! Lamppost Coffee Roasters new website is up and running. Take a look at www.lamppostcoffee.com . We've tested it our pretty thoroughly, but...please be patient as there will be things we didn't think about or things not going quite the way we set them up or anticipated them to go. Our web maven and web master are working on get the domain connected to the new website by Wix.com as well as helping us think through how things will work on the website. With the new website, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Some hyperlinks inside the website still do not work. We will continue to set those up. We have a list and will continue to connect those links over the next week. We had to wait until our domain was connected to our new website.
- Even local customers will be able to order online. You will be able tobypass the shipping to select the local delivery option. In order to do this, you must select a state (Washington) and then the option to set up local delivery will show up. HOWEVER, if you are a local customer, please continue to use the Facebook group.
- Never fear! More added to the website. As we grow and time goes along, we will add pages as we need and desire.
- Please give a HUGE shout out to our webmaven and webmaster, Amy & Jesse Carrigan, for all their hard work and help getting this set up. They also did an amazing job on the original website. I really appreciate what each member of my family does to help me continue moving along towards the fulfillment of my lifelong dream.

Here's Roastmaster Jeff, aka Papa, in the pool with the webmaven and webmaster's adorable children...yep, they are our grandbabies!
Secondly, I (Val) am headed into back surgery Thursday, August 6th. We are not altering our roasting schedule. We will continue to roast every Tuesday evening. Shipping will continue to go out on Wednesday mornings. However, there will be some creative delivering happening. Actually, it would be very helpful if our local customers would please pick up any coffee they order from our booth at Tunes@Tapps Outdoor Market between 4-6 pm on Wednesdays. I will have to be very careful and quiet with no lifting, twisting or bending for two full weeks. While my family, friends and community are being incredible and helpful, there will be limited deliveries for a few weeks. Best plan is to pick up coffee from the Lamppost booth at Allan Yorke Park each Wednesday from 4-6 pm. We'll keep you up to date as things unfold. We are all looking forward to me getting my mobility and attention span back.
Finally, Tunes@Tapps continues each Wednesday through September
2nd at Allan Yorke Park here in Bonney Lake. Yes, we will continue to be there!! It's has been great fun interacting with folks from Bonney Lake and from around East Pierce County area. We brew 4-6 different varieties of coffee, hot, over ice and as a pour over, for people to sample and enjoy a cup of fresh roasted coffee. Be sure to come out and join us for evenings of fun, music, food and, of course, coffee every Wednesday evening. Concerts start each Wednesday evening between 6:30-7:00 pm. Check out the City of Bonney Lake's website here for a complete listing of concerts and performances.
Thank you for joining us on our coffee adventure. Now it’s your turn to venture into coffee…
